Which type of LED Tube is more energy efficient: LSD, LED, or plasma?

Looking into buying a new one (first since the early part of the last decade when tube tvs were your opiton) and know there is atleast one type that is more energy efficient.

So called LED TVs are LED Tube  with LED backlight, which are about as efficient as it gets, but not much better than florescent backlight. LED backlights should last longer than florescent backlights and are definitely less delicate, if you happen to drop the TV when moving it. 

 

If you see a plasma in a store, you can feel the heat coming off the top, ie wasted energy.

 

led t5 tube definitely. Not only are they more energy efficient, they also deliver better picture quality in general.

 

Plasma is the least energy efficient out of all 3 of them. It produces more heat, it causes risk of screen burning and increases your bill at least by 30% more than a regular LCD TV.

 

LED is the better option. But led tube light   are more expensive. Plasma on the other hand are considerably cheaper, but they deliver worst picture quality. They only tend to give you better blacks and greys.

 

Neon or led lights for under my car i have no clue and need serious help?

hey im bout to go on a beach trip and i wanted to spice my car up with some street glow and so i first came to a problem of should i get neon tubes or led some say neon cuz its brighter but some say led cuz they last longer and easier to maintain wat do u think i should get......................also if it aint bright enough to shine all over the ground were my car is at then it aint good enough for me so yea ............also if u know a site i can order them from let me know

 

Go with neon. LED underbody lights available today are not bright enough. The best (and most expensive) LED underbody lights available today use only small 5mm LEDs. They are arranged to only cast focused light in a small strip along the side of the car. Small LEDs need to be focused in order to be able to see it. Neon on the other hand is higher output and doesn't need the focusing. With neon your car will actually look like the entire underbody is lit up. With LED your car will look like a little line of light is around your car.

Secondly just go out and look at the price of neon vs. LED. Neon is a lot cheaper.
