Neon led candle bulb for a Bar That I am Building?

 

I am looking into making a bar for my apartment and I want to put neon led candle bulb  underneath a frosted Plexiglas top. I was looking around for different color neon tubes and I was only able to find the ones that you put in your car. Is there a way to rewire them to work using a standard outlet? If you know where I could find normal neon or LED tubes that I could use in my situation then I would love to know

 

Actually, short straight neon tubes from a neon sign shop shouldn't be too expensive. The worrisome thing is the high voltage transformer.

This has the advantage of using auto neon that's probably fully enclosed and not likely to shock anyone.

well i took out my stock washers, but in the process i broke the connecting tubes, and i was wondering if there were such things as extentions tubes..

Your favorite auto supply will have what you need in their vacuum hose/fitting section. Bring in the broken stuff, and they'll help you find the parts you need to make your repair. It'll be as good as new,

 

Cheap prices for interior neon lights and led lights?

walmart,,bestbuy, ebay, craigslist..just look around i got underglow, blue led lights for under the dash and red led for the back seat for my cavalier...dont mind that harley guy .....he drives a harley most likley and is jealous he cant really have that much lighting on his bike or hes just 50 years old and dont understand!

 

LED lights/ bulbs can be used with inverter?

LED lights and bulbs are used on power. In residence we also use inverter for uninterrupted power supply. Can we use these LED lights/bulbs on these inverter. These bulbs/tubes also produce heat, will it effect the inverter or room temprature?

 

IME, yes you can. My LED bulb run mostly cool.

 

Where can we get led tubes or neon led g4 bulb  used for bikes and cars?

 

you can get accents for inside your car and out. a cool tip in a car is get a bandpass speakerbox (one that has plexiglass over the woofers) and install the tubes under the glass. then use a transformer to make it flash to the bass.
